It's Officially Golfing Season in the Rockies!
Spring has officially sprung in Grand County when the golf courses start opening for the season! Tee up at one of our four world-class courses with unparalleled scenery: Pole Creek Golf Club, Golf Granby Ranch, Grand Elk, and Grand Lake Golf Course. All open to the public and all within 25 miles of each other, you can even play two different courses in a single day if you're feeling ambitious!

For most, the initial allure of our mountain community is the natural environment. There's no doubt: beauty and opportunity for recreation and adventure abound. But, as you spend more time here, you'll realize that there are so many more reasons to call this place home. One such "hidden gem" is our local library system. Just like finding a secret powder stash at the resort or a secluded stream to cool off in after a bike ride, discovering the Grand County Library District can leave you asking, "How am I just finding this?!"
Transitioning from ski season to summer activities can leave a mud season void. The resort closes, but the trails aren't dry yet. Some days are full of sunshine and warmth while others still bring snow and wind. What can you do during this time of limbo? Located on the edge of the town of Winter Park as you head toward Fraser, the Grand Park Community Recreation Center offers a facility that can easily fill your days and help maintain fitness during the springtime "between" season, regardless of the weather.
