Tabernash

While driving through Tabernash might leave you assuming it's simply a tiny pass-through town between Fraser/Winter Park and Granby, you’d be remiss to write it off before learning more about this desirable and unique community. The sprawling neighborhood to the east of Highway 40 is the Winter Park Highlands, with large lots and hundreds of single-family homes that extend well up the hill above the highway. Coyote Creek, Pole Creek Valley, and Pole Creek Meadows sit just to the west of the highway, offering newer and typically more contemporary homes, condos, and townhomes optimally located off the highway between Winter Park and Granby. The golf course, County Road 5 (the “4 bar 4 road” to locals), and neighborhoods to the east of the highway near Fraser offer the opportunity to live in large, single-family homes that can be rare to find near resort mountain communities. Pole Creek Golf Course, the YMCA of the Rockies, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, and the Tabernash Tavern are all around the corner providing opportunities to enjoy time in Grand County in every season, whether it be golfing, Nordic skiing, hiking, fishing, biking, or enjoying a night out. Ski Granby Ranch and Winter Park Resorts are just minutes in either direction while the Fraser to Granby Trail runs alongside the highway, offering easy trail access throughout the valley. Tabernash is a hidden gem!
