Grand County Goes Big for the 4th of July!

The quintessential summer holiday is best celebrated in the ideal summer location--the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in what, in our opinion, is one of the best mountain communities around. Simply being up in the mountains with the cooler air and opportunity to play outside might be your idea of the perfect 4th. From riding the hundreds of miles of mountain biking trails, hiking around lakes or to the top of peaks, heading out for an afternoon on the boat, rafting a river, fishing some of Grand County's gold medal waters, playing at Winter Park Resort's base, or taking laps at Trestle, it's one of the best places to be this time of year.

Small-town Rodeos at Their Finest: The High Country Stampede and Flying Heels Arena Do it Right!

Pull on your boots and slide on your western hat: Grand County rodeos are ready for you every Saturday this summer! Designed to entertain all ages, these rodeos bring out the small-town charm and western roots of our little valley. Both the Flying Heels Arena in Granby and the High Country Stampede in Fraser run every Saturday night this summer, rain or shine. The Granby rodeo got its start in June and ends the last Saturday in July while the Fraser rodeo started mid-summer and runs until August 13th.
