Powder Days, Sunshine, Live Music, and Themed Events Make April at Winter Park Resort a Month-Long Party! 

April showers and May flowers might signal spring in most places, but here in Winter Park, spring brings powder days, bluebird skies, snow "beaches," sunny patios, and a calendar full of events to celebrate the ski season and warmer weather. We shed the layers and embrace the climbing temperatures every spring - early morning skins up the Jane might have us in a t-shirt by the time we reach The Olympia, and the sun is still shining on that last chair that drops us off for a final run down a soft line to our favorite après deck. 

With spring break winding down and town a little quieter, we get to experience the the best of spring each April…

Grand County Rural Health Network Advocates for and Supports Community-Wide Healthcare Access

The slower pace of life, endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, views for days, and minimal traffic are just a few of the many perks of mountain living. And here in Grand County we enjoy the benefits of our close proximity to Denver, making it easy to take advantage of all the Front Range has to offer while still returning to our mountain haven. Even with all its beauty, some might equate rural living with minimal resources to care for the community. Thanks to a strong and dedicated network of nonprofits, we can say with confidence that is not the case here in Grand County.

The H.O.P.E Fund is Dedicated to Supporting Mental Health here in Grand County 


The need for mental health awareness, resources, and access in Grand County has long been evident. While our community and its number of full-time residents has grown in the past few years, we still face challenges that come with living in a rural community, including limited resources and funding to support mental health and substance abuse. 

The H.O.P.E. Fund, managed by the Grand Foundation, is committed to addressing those challenges and giving Grand County's residents the level of access and care they need. The fund had its inception in 2021 with donations made in memory of those we've lost to suicide or drug overdose.
