The Birdie Lounge in Downtown Fraser Brings Year-Round Golfing to Grand County

When the snow disappears each spring in Grand County, our mountain adventures don't come to an end: we just switch gears. We hang up our skis and dust off our bikes, rafts, paddle boards, and golf clubs. And the tell-tale sign that spring has officially sprung is when our four world-class golf courses start to open for the season. Our strong snowpack makes for epic winter adventure in the Fraser Valley, but we know that also means the wait for idyllic high-mountain golfing can take a little patience.

That's where The Birdie Lounge comes in. Downtown Fraser's newest small business offers the opportunity to perfect your swing year-round. Their four state-of-the-art golf simulators allow players to practice driving, chipping, and putting on their choice of 700 different real-life courses. In the winter, you can take a few runs at the resort and follow it up with a round of golf. It's even a win during golf season: your game will never get rained out! And you don't have to be a pro to play - a round at The Birdie Lounge's simulators can be enjoyed by anyone from a beginner to a PGA golfer.

THE SIMULATORS

Each of the simulator bays allows play for up to six people. Keep in mind - the more people that play, the longer you'll need to reserve. An experienced golfer can finish an 18-hole round in about an hour, so add more time for more players. Bays can be booked for as few as 30 minutes and as long as four hours.

The four Uneekor EyeXO Simulators with 16 foot 4K screens have super-speed cameras that provide instant shot feedback and some seriously accurate, in-depth data to help you perfect that swing should you be in it to win it.

THE BAR

Whether you're waiting for, playing, or finished with your round, their full bar and snack options are ready for you! Try one of their signature cocktails or order a local IPA from Hideaway Park Brewery to enjoy with a house-made panini.

LOCATION

The Birdie Lounge is right in the heart of Fraser on the ground-level of Downtown Fraser's new mixed-use development, Koselig on Main. One of the four retail businesses housed in the new space, The Birdie Lounge takes advantage of the prime Fraser location. You can't miss it when you drive by on Highway 40 -it's across from Fisher's Bar and adjacent to Fraser Valley Distilling

PRICING

Bays are priced in 30 minutes increments at $32.50 for each half hour. You can book up to four hours for a total of $260. The cost includes up to 6 golfers as well as club rentals should you need them (but you can always bring your own!). We recommend booking online to ensure your bay is ready for your group when you arrive!

Stay tuned: they plan to eventually offer private parties as well as lessons and leagues in the off season (pricing to come)!

HOURS

Hours can be subject to change, but The Birdie Lounge is currently open 7 days a week:

Sunday - Thursday: 11am - 10pm

Friday + Saturday: 11am - 12pm
