Grand County pulls out all the stops to celebrate the 4th of July each year. You'll find live music, races, parades, rodeos, fireworks and more from Winter Park to Granby to Grand Lake. And with the cool mountain air and jaw-dropping views, this is the quintessential place to celebrate the favorite summer holiday. We've done our best to compile all of the events coming your way this 4th of July - we did the digging for you, so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy your time in the mountains!
THURSDAY, JULY 3rd
5:30-8pm: Granby Music + Market
6-8pm: High Note Thursday at Rendezvous Event Center
7pm: Granby Rodeo at Flying Heels Arena
9:30pm (ish): Granby Rodeo fireworks show
FRIDAY, JULY 4TH
9am: Rendezvous Run for Independence from Winter Park Resort to downtown Winter Park
11am: Granby's 4th of July parade down Main Street (true small-town America at its finest)
12pm: Party in the Park at Granby's Polhamus Park right after the parade
5-8pm: Uptripping's First Friday at Cooper Creek Square
5:30pm: Winter Park 4th of July Celebration + Concert: Red, White + Buckstein at Rendezvous Event Center
6-8pm: Cooper Creek Square's Music on the Square live music
6-8:30pm: Music on the Hill at Colorado Adventure Park
7pm: Granby Rodeo at Flying Heels Arena
9:15pm (ish): Granby Rodeo fireworks show
9pm (ish): Grand Lake fireworks show over the lake (Check out Grand Lake's dining options to enjoy a meal before the show!)
SATURDAY, JULY 5TH
7-10:30am: Granby Fly-In + Pancake Breakfast
8am: Kremmling's KowTown Gravel Bike Race followed by a post-race party at The Town Square from 12-5pm
9-11:30am: Lion's Club Kid's Fishing Derby
10:30am: Granby Gut Buster 5K Color Run
1-3pm: Summer Music Series at Winter Park Resort's Village
2pm: Granby Ranch Rocky Mountain Music Series
6-8pm: Cooper Creek Square's Saturday Sessions live music
7pm: Granby Rodeo at Flying Heels Arena
7pm: Fraser's High Country Stampede Rodeo
9:15pm (ish): Granby Rodeo fireworks
SUNDAY, JULY 6TH
9am: Fitness in the Park (yoga at the Rendezvous Event Center)
11am: Granby Family Bike Parade + Party
