From Food Trucks to Fine Dining to Sweet Treats on the Boardwalk, Grand Lake Has It All!

While Grand Lake brings plenty of winter wonderland fun (think Winter Carnivals, skijoring, Pond Hockey Classics, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and more!), it can feel like the whole town comes out of hibernation with new life breathed into it each summer as the waterfront opens, restaurants and shops extend their hours, the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre kicks off summer shows, days get longer, and the hot summer mountain sun graces us with the warmth we've been looking forward to all winter long.
The Grand Lake summer vibe is unquestionably charming - the perfect mix of laid-back sunny days, rustic cabin-in-the-woods aesthetic, wildlife around every corner, and all the outdoor adventure you could imagine. Whether you're out on a pontoon or speedboat, sailing beneath the peak of Mt. Baldy, paddle boarding, kayaking, or relaxing on the shore, the lake itself brings all the summer fun. Not on the water? Hiking in and around Grand Lake (with Rocky Mountain National Park a literal stone's throw away) or exploring on horseback are other ways to explore the area and embrace summer in the mountains. And Grand Lake's boardwalk down Grand Avenue gives both adventurers and those looking for that perfect lazy summer day the opportunity to slow down and appreciate the simple things with a stroll through the wealth of shops and dining options in our quaint little mountain town.
There's no question Grand Lake should be on your bucket list of summer destinations - and if you make it there, you're sure to be hungry at some point! Be sure you're in the know about all the dining options: whether you're looking for a quick bite, a picnic by the lake, or a full-service meal, Grand Lake is ready for you. From tried-and-true spots that have been around for decades to new-to-the-scene eateries, I've put together your one-stop guide to dining in Grand Lake this summer!

Located in the old Grumpy's Saloon, it still has that rustic Grand Lake vibe and offers pizza to go as well as indoor and (limited) outdoor seating.
