Free Outdoor Live Music this Summer!
Outdoor music feels like the heartbeat of our community as the days get longer and summer settles in. Gathering together with blankets, chairs, picnics, and coolers to bask in the warmth of the season is a summer staple for most in Grand County. Abuzz with laughter, conversation, and connection, the town feels alive and the love of our community and natural environment is palpable. Opportunities to enjoy free, high-quality live music with the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains abound. Wolf Park, Granby Ranch, Rendezvous Event Center, Fraser Old Schoolhouse Park, and Cooper Creek Square are all home to free summer concert series' in Grand County. Be sure to swing by and check (at least) one out this summer if you're in town!
KFFR Wolf Park Concert Series
Location: Wolf Park, Kings Crossing Road, Winter Park, CO
Dates/time: Thursdays, May 26-June 16, 2022 6-8pm
Pull up a chair or blanket at one of our favorite parks in town. An intimate venue nestled in the heart of Winter Park, this series kicked off their music on May 26 and runs weekly from 6-8pm on Thursdays until High Note Thursdays start at the Rendezvous Event Center. COOPER CREEK: MUSIC ON THE SQUARE
Location: Cooper Creek Square, Hwy 40, Winter Park, CO

Cooper Creek Square wins the award for the most free, outdoor live music this summer! In the courtyard of the outdoor mall in the heart of Winter Park, this intimate venue is has something for everyone. Lush flower gardens, a large fountain, play structures, corn hole games, and more create an inviting space for all as they tap their feet along with the music. Even better--Cooper Creek Square is designated an "Entertainment District," which allows people to purchase food and drinks from any of the restaurants and enjoy them in the square. Music on the Square is a great way to spend your weekend evenings after a day out enjoying the beauty of the Fraser Valley!

HIGH NOTE THURSDAYS CONCERT SERIES
Location: Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park, Hwy 40 Downtown, Winter Park, CO
Dates/time: Thursdays, June 23-August 25, 2022 6-8pm
This beloved and much-anticipated series offers a variety of musical styles and runs for the majority of the summer. People spread out on the well-manicured green grass with blankets and picnics every Thursday. Sit close to the state-of-the-art stage to bask in the live music and dance along, or set up camp towards the back to enjoy a conversation over a meal with friends. Families love this event as the kids feel free to run back and forth from the playground, skate park, and show. There's no need to bring a chair as hundreds are provided at the venue, compliments of the Winter Park Chamber.
