Summer has officially arrived, and a jam-packed summer event schedule has arrived with it! In addition to the extensive opportunities to play outside hiking, biking, fishing, boating, camping, golfing and enjoying the sheer beauty of our slice of the Rocky Mountains, our community has pulled out all the stops to bring you concerts, festivals, races, and more throughout the summer season. It's often been said that people move to Winter Park for the winter but stay for the summer--we think you'll agree if you are fortunate enough to get time to enjoy this place we call home this summer!
BLUES FROM THE TOP
June 24-26
This three-day music festival held at the Rendezvous Event Center in downtown Winter Park brings some of the best blues artists in the country to our small town. Check out the line up here. And get your tickets here. Spend the weekend enjoying blues with a view!
THE BIGWONDERFUL SUMMER BEER FEST
June 25
The BigWonderful will be back at Winter Park Resort to kick off the summer season! Enjoy live music, shop from over 40 craft vendors, and grab a ticket to the beer fest: over twenty Colorado breweries, distilleries, and cideries will be pouring unlimited samples for ticket holders. They know how to start summer off right!
CAMPER RIG RALLY
July 2
Start off your 4th of July weekend at the Camper Rig Rally at Hideaway Park! A free tailgate event for adventure vehicles of all sorts will be sure to leave you Googling "how to build out a Sprinter van." Bring your rig, or just come come check them out! They'll be prizes for "Best in Show," "Most Techy," and "Dirt Bag Spirit."
5POINT ADVENTURE FILM FESTIVAL
July 2
Stay after the Camper Rig Rally to enjoy the FREE 5Point Film Festival, hosted by Never Summer Senders, Grand County's youth climbing team.
FITNESS IN THE PARK
July 3-August 28
Free outdoor fitness classes start Sunday, July 3rd at 9am and continue every Sunday all summer long! Kickstart your day with a yoga or pilates class in a gorgeous setting at either the Rendezvous Event Center or Wolf Park! Classes are designed to accommodate a wide-variety of ability levels. WINTER PARK ALPINE ART AFFAIR
July 9-10
Head over to the Rendezvous Event Center in downtown Winter Park to check out the 48th annual Alpine ArtAffair. It's a friendly outdoor not-for-profit juried show, staffed by volunteers with a love of the arts. Proceeds from applications and booth fees provide scholarships that fund local students, schools, and arts in the community. It's a great way to be outside, enjoy the mountains, support independent artists and artisans, and give back to our community! It's hard to leave without finding a gem!
July 16-17
The 39th annual Winter Park Jazz Festival is returning to the Rendezvous Event Center this July! The whole town comes alive with people tapping their feet to jazz all weekend long as summer is in full swing. Check out the world-class lineup and buy your tickets today!
USA CYCLING MTN. BIKE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
July 17-24
Unsure about the caliber of mountain bike trails in "Mountain Bike USA"? Let the fact that the USA mountain bike championships continue to be held here speak for itself! Check out the details and schedule so you can catch some of the best riders in the country in action!
ZOPPE FAMILY CIRCUS
July 22-August 3
A yearly family favorite, the Zoppe Family Italian Circus makes a stop and sets up camp in Fraser this summer. This intimate one-ring circus starring Nino the Clown features acrobatic feats, equestrian showmanship, canine capers, clowning and plenty of audience participation all while being propelled by a central story. You will not regret a trip to the Zoppe Circus! We are so grateful they chose to make Fraser one of their handful of stops this summer!
OUTSIDE EVENTS CYCLING SERIES
July 23
Outside is hosting two races in our little town this summer. Register for the 12-hour "Race the Sun" mountain bike race and the "Crooked Gravel" race (with both 25 and 67 mile options). Both take you through the unparalleled terrain found in the Fraser Valley and end with a party together at Hideaway Park.
WINTER PARK UNCORKED
July 30
Fill your glass with samples of wine from several local and regional wineries all afternoon while listening to live music from Lapompe Jazz at Winter Park Uncorked at the Rendezvous Event Center.
FRASER MOUNTAIN MURAL FESTIVAL 2022
August 5-7
Raising awareness for the Fraser Center for Creative Arts while generating creative energy, artists produce their best work on an 8'x8' primed mural. Watch the artists in action while listening to live music in the new art hub of the county at the Fraser Mountain Mural Festival!
WINTER PARK BREW FEST
August 6
A cold beer after a long bike ride or hike? Or a sampling of a few of your favorites? Or even a few you've never tried before? The first Winter Park Brew Fest will be held at the Rendezvous Event Center and will be sure to top your list of summer favorite events! Enjoy the live music (featuring a Journey tribute band!) while filling your cup with some of the finest.
STELLA GIVES BACK
August 13
A rescue of a two brothers' dog, Stella, by the dedicated and skilled Grand County Search and Rescue team was the catalyst for those same brothers to create this benefit event for the all-volunteer search and rescue team here in Grand County. Come support our local heroes at Stella Gives Back. Enjoy live music and great food and drinks while raising funds for funds needed for critical equipment, backcountry transport, training, medical supplies, and technical gear for Grand County Search and Rescue.
COUNTRY AT THE PARK

Dylan Scott hits the Rendezvous Event Center stage as the summer winds down for many. Celebrate the sweet summer you have left with this old-soul songwriter with a young spirit. And having the Rocky Mountain backdrop on a cool summer night won't hurt either!

September 2-10
Fraser Valley Arts presents the second year of Plein Air at Altitude. Artists can join each day to paint a selection of private lands and noteworthy Colorado Headwaters Land Trust easements. Fraser is truly becoming the art capital of the county!
SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH TRAIL RUNNING FESTIVAL
September 17
They save the best for last in the season finale of the Endurance Race Series! Races will include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 50K (individual or team) in the unparalleled beauty of the natural environment at Snow Mountain Ranch. Check out the all the details here.
GRAND KIDS FALL FEST
September 17
Come out to support the Grand Kids Learning Center, an early childhood center that serves infants to Pre-K children in the Fraser Valley! Throw corn hole, listen to live music, and have a beverage while the kids get their faces painted, jump in the bouncy houses, and ride the train at the Rendezvous Event Center from 12-5pm. Genuinely fun for the whole family--and for such a good cause!
ROCKY MOUNTAIN WINE FEST
September 23-24
Enjoy unlimited wine samples at this 2-day festival at the base of the Winter Park Resort. Soak in the beauty of the changing leaves while sipping on a glass of red, white, or rose as the summer winds to a close.
